Focusing on Young People

>>> Princes Trust Grants Programme

Do you have a good idea for your community, and a few mates to help? The Prince's Trust can find the funding to make it happen.

We support groups of young people with all kinds of community projects - everything from publishing magazines to starting drop-in centres for other young people to running drug and alcohol awareness workshops.

Focusing on Sport

>>> Sport England

The Community Investment Fund focuses investment into projects and programmes that can help people to start, stay and succeed in sport and physical activity. We look for projects that seek to involve the whole community, particularly hard-to-reach groups, that match regional priorities laid out in our plans for sport; and that recognise the wider benefits of sport and activity in terms of health, education and community.

>>> Football Foundation

Applications are welcomed from community groups, youth clubs, football clubs and education establishments. The Foundation also seeks to encourage applications from groups whose income is less than £15,000 per annum.

>>> Barclays Spaces for Sport

We're helping local communities transform neglected land into the sporting facilities they want - from a skateboard park to a football pitch or multi use games area. We provide initial funds, supply equipment and help establish sporting activity at the site.

>>> Kellogg's Community Grants

The fund will make small donations to support activities, projects and organisations that actually promote sustained low cost participation in physical exercise for those people who need it most.
NB: The fund is not intended to fund the running costs of existing sports clubs.

Kellogg's will make donations of up to £1000 but will only fund activities or projects where the donation makes a significant impact.  For example Kellogg's would consider donating £1000 to a £2000 project but would not consider donating £1000 a £10,000 project.
