Failsworth.info has won the Golden Web Award 2003-2004 for the second year in a row.

FAILSWORTH CARNIVAL - WILL GO AHEAD!

The Failsworth Carnival Committee met on Tuesday 28th January 2003 at Failsworth Community Centre to discuss the future of the carnival.

It was mentioned that due to the Commonwealth Games the carnival did not go ahead in 2002, this came as a shock for those who enjoy the fun and games each year but they rarely take a moment to think about the hard work of Mel and his team of loyal Failsworth Folk.

The motto of the town is True Worth Never Fails, and although it does sometimes seem as thought only 5% of the town actually believes it, the Carnival will go ahead.

All money raised goes to local groups and organisations, and the money is sorely missed.

If you can not spare the time to help out please support the carnival by purchasing a programme and attending the fair.
