Appearance |
Recently repainted, new
carpets, generally clean & tidy. Brightly lit, noisy, you can't miss it. |
Service |
Pleasant, lively, regular, all
female bar staff who sometimes double as the cabaret act

Food |

None served

Entertainment |
This is an animated pub
with regular sessions from the landlady/DJ and apparently anyone else who
fancies a go. Attracts good karaoke singers. Yogi Bear a frequent visitor.
(If you don't know what that means you'll soon find out!)

Overall |
A traditional
unpretentious pub with a previously unfavourable reputation that has
successfully reinvented itself under new ownership. Mainly aimed at a
younger crowd and still not for the faint hearted though some of the older
regulars might disagree. Prices a little high maybe but definitely worth
checking out. Close to Hollinwood Junction area, taxis etc.
